Client: The person or entity accepting these terms ("you", "your").
All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. A quote is not a contract until accepted in writing (email or signed quote). Verbal acceptance may be relied upon but written confirmation is preferred.
Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. A deposit of [X%] may be required before work commences. Bank: [Bank Name] | Account: [XX-XXXX-XXXXXXX-XX]. Late payments accrue interest at [2%] per month.
Any additional work beyond the original scope must be agreed in writing via a Variation Order before work commences. Verbal instructions to vary may be charged at our standard rate at our discretion.
The client is responsible for providing safe site access and ensuring the site is ready for work as agreed. Delays caused by lack of access or unsuitable site conditions may result in additional charges.
Our liability is limited to the value of the work performed. We are not liable for consequential or indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where applicable.
Where services are supplied to a consumer, nothing in these terms limits or excludes rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Where services are supplied for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
Any disputes should first be raised in writing. If unresolved within 20 working days, either party may refer the matter to mediation or adjudication under the Construction Contracts Act 2002 (where applicable).
If the client cancels after acceptance, we reserve the right to charge for work completed and materials ordered to date. A cancellation fee of [X%] of the quoted price may apply.
